This ensures that sensitive equity information, financial data, and company documents are only accessible to the right people, and that each user can perform only the actions you allow.

You can find the access control page at the very bottom of the left-hand menu when viewing your company workspace.

What you can do on the access control page

On this page, you can:

  • View everyone who has access to your company workspace

  • Edit permissions for each user

  • Assign full admin rights or feature-based access levels

  • Inviting a new user

Let’s walk through each section:

View all users with access

When you open the page, you’ll see a list of all people who currently have access to your company account.
You can choose how to display them:

  • List view → compact and ideal for larger teams

  • Card view → visual cards for each person, easier for smaller groups

On each card or list item, users with full access are marked with an “Admin” tag, helping you quickly identify who has administrator privileges.

Edit permissions

Next to each person, click “Edit permissions” to open the side panel where you can adjust their access level.

Inside the panel, you can choose between two types of permission management:

Assign full administrator rights

Enable “Add as administrator of this company” to give a user complete access to the entire company workspace.

Administrators can:

  • View everything

  • Create, edit, and delete any data

  • Manage equity, instruments, valuations, pools, and documents

  • Invite stakeholders

  • Manage subscription and company settings

Use this role carefully, administrators have full control.

Set feature-based access

If you don’t want someone to be a full admin, you can instead set detailed permissions feature by feature.

For each area of the platform, such as:

  • Cap table

  • Stakeholders

  • Share classes

  • Valuations

  • Financial instruments (options, convertibles, warrants, RSAs)

  • Pools and programs

  • Documents

  • Company settings

you can choose between:

  • No access

  • View only

  • Full access

This allows you to tailor access precisely depending on each person’s role in your company.

After editing someone’s access rights, make sure to click “Save” to apply the changes.

Inviting a new user

To give a new person access to your company workspace, click “Invite user” in the top right corner of the access control page.
This will open a side panel where you can enter the person’s:

  • Name

  • Email address

Once the contact information is added, you can choose their level of access:

Add as Administrator

If you toggle “Add as administrator of this company”, the user will receive full access to the entire company workspace.

Administrators can view, create, edit, and delete everything, so use this role only for individuals who truly need full control.

Customized Access

Instead of making the user an admin, you can configure personalized permissions for each feature in the platform.

For every section, such as the cap table, stakeholders, documents, instruments, valuations, and more, you can assign:

  • No access

  • View access

  • Full access

This allows you to tailor the user’s access precisely to their responsibilities.

When you're done, click “Send invitation.”

The invited user will receive an email granting them access to your company workspace under the permissions you defined.

Conclusion

The access control page gives you full control over who can see and manage your company’s sensitive information.

From granting full administrator rights to customizing access on a feature-by-feature basis, Unlisted ensures you can balance transparency, security, and operational efficiency.

With clear visibility into who has access, and easy tools to adjust permissions, your company remains protected and well-organized.
