In some cases, you may see the error message “Something went wrong” at the top of your screen.

This can happen when you try to create option grants, register transactions, update information on a shareholder, or perform other actions.

In some situations, the message may also appear when navigating to a new page in the portal.

We are continuously working to improve our error messages so they become more precise and easier to act on. We also work to prevent these errors from appearing at all, both by improving data validation and by resolving the underlying causes.

If you experience this error, we appreciate your feedback via the chat on our website or by email at [email protected]. This helps us better understand what caused the error and fix any issues.

Why does the error occur?

Even though we do everything we can at Unlisted to prevent this general error message from appearing, through data validation and quality checks, we are not always able to catch every possible situation.

The error may appear when:

  • You enter data in an invalid format and attempt to save
(for example, entering text in a field that only accepts numbers)

In these cases, look through the information you tried to save to check if something was entered incorrectly.

Another common scenario is when the error appears after a period of inactivity.
This happens because your browser session has expired, and it can usually be resolved by simply refreshing the page.

What you can do yourself

If you see this error message, try the following:

  • Double-check the data you entered

  • Is there a letter in a field that only accepts numbers?

  • Is the share price entered in the wrong format?

  • Are there symbols where only digits should be?

  • Try refreshing the page to see if the issue resolves itself

If you still cannot understand why the error appears, take a screenshot and send it to [email protected], and we will help you.
