How to edit pools and programs

Once your pools and programs are created, you may need to adjust details such as share amounts, exercise prices, vesting rules, or approval information.

The pools & programs page allows you to edit both pools and programs so your equity plans remain accurate, compliant, and aligned with internal decisions.

Editing a pool

To edit a pool, go to the “Pools & Programs” page and locate the pool card you want to update.

1. Open the edit panel

On the top right corner of the pool card, click the pen icon.
A side panel will open where you can adjust all the editable fields.

2. What you can edit

In the pool editor, you can update:

  • Pool name

  • Pool description

  • Number of shares (authorized shares in the pool)

  • Share price

  • Date of approval

  • Approved by (the approving authority or board member)

  • Expiry date

  • Supporting documents (you can upload new files)

3. What you cannot edit

Certain fields are locked after the pool is created:

  • Share source

  • Share class

These are intentionally disabled to preserve governance integrity.

4. Save your changes

When you’re done, click “Save changes” before closing the panel.
The updated information will immediately appear on the pool card.


Editing a stock options program

To edit a stock option program, find the program card inside the relevant pool.

1. Choose your action

On the program card:

  • Click the bin icon to delete the program

  • Click the pen icon to edit it

2. What you can or cannot edit

In the side panel, you can update:

  • Program name

  • Program description

  • Number of stock options

  • Exercise price

  • Expiration date

You can’t change:

  • The pool it belongs to

  • Program type

3. Advanced options

Click “Show advanced options” to configure more detailed settings:

  • Make the expiry date relative to the vesting date

  • Highlight or describe key agreement terms

If you scroll more you can also:

  • Adjust vesting details, including:

  • Time-based vesting

  • Milestone-based vesting

  • A combination of both

  • Update the approval date

  • Edit the post-termination exercise clause

You can also:

  • Upload new documents

  • Change the signing manager responsible for the agreements

4. Save your changes

Click “Save changes” before leaving the panel to make sure your updates are applied.


Editing an RSA share program

Editing an RSA program works almost exactly the same as a stock option program.

To edit it:

  • Open the pool

  • Click the pen icon on the RSA program card

  • The side panel will appear with all editable options

1. What you can edit

You may update:

  • Program name

  • Program description

  • Number of RSA shares

  • Purchase price per share

2. Advanced options

Under “Show advanced options”, you can:

  • Highlight essential agreement terms

Scrolling more you will find:

  • Edit vesting details (time-based, milestone-based, or a mix)

  • Update the approval date

  • Add or replace supporting documents

  • Change the signing manager

3. Save your changes

As always, click “Save changes” before closing the panel to ensure updates are applied.
