The stakeholders page allows you to keep your records updated, invite stakeholders to access their personal portfolio, and maintain transparent communication.

You can find the stakeholders page in the left-hand menu under “Stakeholders.”

What you can do on the stakeholders page

From this page, you can:

  • View and manage all stakeholders

  • Track who has access to their portfolio

  • Invite or re-invite stakeholders

  • Edit stakeholder information

  • Export your stakeholder list

  • Add new stakeholders manually

Let’s break it down:

View and manage all stakeholders

The central part of the page displays a list of all stakeholders, including:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Relationship with the company (e.g., founder, investor, employee, advisor)

This makes it easy to understand who is part of your cap table and how they relate to the company.

You can customize how stakeholders are displayed:

  • List view → clean, compact, ideal for quick scanning

  • Card view → visual, more spaced out, helpful when managing fewer contacts

Choose the view that fits your workflow best.

Track who has access to their portfolio

At the top of the page, you’ll see how many stakeholders have access, meaning that you have sent them an invitation, and they have created their Unlisted account.

These stakeholders can log in, access their personal portfolio, and see their instruments and shares under the permissions you’ve defined.

You can click “Invite more” to send new invitations.
Select the stakeholders you want to invite, and they will receive an email granting access to their portfolio.

Why is inviting stakeholders important

Inviting stakeholders provides transparency and empowers them to:

  • View the shares, options, or instruments they hold

  • Follow their vesting schedules

  • See company valuations

  • Access the cap table based on your sharing settings

  • Keep their personal information up to date

  • Download agreements or exercise options (if applicable)

It also reduces questions to your team, since stakeholders can find answers directly in their portfolio.

Edit stakeholder information and resend invitations

On each stakeholder card or list item, click the three dots to access actions:

  • Edit contact information (name, email, relationship)

  • Send invite (if they’ve never been invited)

  • Resend invite (useful if they missed or didn’t act on the first invitation)

Export your stakeholder list

You can export your full stakeholder list to Excel (.xlsx) for reporting, auditing, or internal record-keeping.
The export includes all contact information currently visible in the table.

Add a new stakeholder

Click “Add stakeholder” in the top right corner to create a new stakeholder profile.

You can enter their:

  • Name

  • Email

  • Relationship

  • Additional details

Important note

If the newly created stakeholder is not yet linked to any shares, stock options, warrants, or convertible instruments:

  • Their portfolio will be empty

  • They will only see the cap table (based on your sharing settings)

  • Their instruments will appear only once you attach them to the stakeholder

Conclusion

The stakeholders page in Unlisted gives you complete control over your entire shareholder base.
From managing profiles and permissions to inviting stakeholders and exporting data, this page centralizes everything you need to maintain clean, transparent, and organized ownership records.

With easy editing tools, flexible views, and integrated invitations, managing your company’s stakeholders has never been simpler.
