This page helps you visualize the distribution of shares, analyze ownership trends over time, and manage stakeholder information, all in one place.

What you can do on the cap table page

On this page, you can:

  • View a summary of your cap table with interactive graphics

  • Edit your cap table view

  • Customize how ownership and calculations are displayed in your cap table.

  • Invite stakeholders to access their data

  • Pick a date to view your cap table at a specific point in time

  • Group data by shareholder, share class, or relationship

  • Explore detailed stakeholder information

  • Search for a specific stakeholder

  • Export the cap table in Excel format

Let’s go through each option:

Summary of the cap table

At the top of the page, under the guides, you’ll find a visual summary of your ownership structure. The charts show the breakdown of ownership by stakeholder type or share class, the top 10 stakeholders, and issued vs unissued shares, helping you quickly understand how your company’s equity is distributed.

Hover over any section of the chart to see percentages, total values, and share counts.

Edit the view of your Cap Table

You can personalize the view of your Cap Table to focus on the information that matters most to you.

Click the three dots in the top right corner of the page, then select Display settings. From there, you can choose which columns to show or hide, such as share class, ownership percentage, voting right, or total value.

This customization helps you tailor your table to your current needs, making it easier to find key data quickly without distractions.

Customize how ownership and calculations are displayed in your cap table

You can also customize how ownership and calculations are displayed in your cap table to reflect your company’s financial reality better.

Click the cogwheel icon at the top of the page to access advanced display options. From there, you can choose whether to include or exclude treasury shares in your ownership breakdown, allowing you to adapt the view to the context of your analysis or reporting.

From the same page, you’ll also find a link to your company settings, where you can define how fully diluted ownership is calculated and how loan interest impacts share conversions. These settings ensure your Cap Table always aligns with your company’s preferred calculation methods and financial policies.

Invite your stakeholders

You can invite shareholders, investors, or employees directly from this page to give them access to their personal ownership data.

Click on “summary”, then “Invite more”. You can then choose which stakeholder to invite and which access role you want to grant them. Once invited, they’ll receive an email with a secure link to log in and view their information.

Pick a date to view your cap table

Use the date selector at the top left to see how your cap table looked at any point in time, for example, before a funding round or after issuing new shares.
This historical view allows you to track ownership evolution and validate past data for audits or reporting.

Group by shareholder, share class, or relationship

Use the Group by menu to reorganize your table dynamically:

  • By shareholder → see who holds what.

  • By share class → compare ownership by instrument (Ordinary, Preferred, etc.).

  • By relationship → analyze groups such as founders, employees, investors, or advisors.

View stakeholder details

Each stakeholder row displays:

  • Name

  • Share class

  • Relationship (founder, investor, etc.)

  • Number of shares

  • Ownership %

  • Total value of shares

Click any stakeholder to open a detail panel with:

  • Complete transaction history

  • Financial instruments held

  • Contact details

  • Options to invite, edit, or update information

Search for a specific stakeholder

Use the search bar above the table to quickly find a stakeholder by name or email.
This is particularly helpful in large organizations with many investors or employees.

Export your cap table

Need to share your data externally or perform custom analysis?
Click on “Export” to download your cap table in Excel (.xlsx) format. The export includes all stakeholder information, ownership data, and share details as seen in your filtered view.

Conclusion

Your Cap Table page in Unlisted is designed to give you a clear, dynamic, and accurate view of your company’s equity, helping you make informed decisions, communicate transparently with stakeholders, and stay ready for audits or fundraising.

Use the filters, grouping, and export options to tailor the data to your needs and keep your ownership records always up to date.
